We are cordially inviting you to submit papers to and attend in the 2nd
International Tropical Renewable Energy, 3 – 4 October 2017, Courtyard
by Marriott Bali Nusa Dua Resort, Indonesia.
The aim of this conference is to promote opportunities and challenges on
tropical renewable energy, integrated with environmentally safe and
economically sustainable innovation, as well as to create theoretical
base of the development, utilization, and implementation for further
applications. This is also to encourage relevant research and exchanging
new ideas between scholars and practitioners.
The 2nd i-TREC 2017 topics are covered by three symposia, namely:
Symposium 1: Renewable Energy System and Regulation
The following topics will be included in this symposium (but will not be
limited to):

• Low energy building and eco-architecture
• Innovative and ecologically sensible design

• Solar energy and solar cells

Symposium 2: Biomass and Biotechnology

• Biomass industries and application
• Process chemistry and technology
• Recent advances in petrochemistry and engineering
• Life-cycles analysis
• Biomass conversion technologies for liquid and gaseous fuels,
chemicals and materials
• Biomass conversion technologies for heating, cooling and electricity
• Biomass Policies, Markets and Sustainability
• Bioenergy in integrated energy system
• Biogas and landfill gas
• Greenhouse gas balances of biomass and bioenergy system
• Advanced biofuels technology
Symposium 3: Multifunctional and Advanced Materials for Renewable Energy
Applications
The following topics will be included in this symposium (but will not be
limited to):
• Carbon, graphene, oxides, composites/nanocomposites and mesostructured
materials
• Catalyst and intelligent/smart materials
• Advanced superconducting, magnetic and material technologies
• Lithium, sodium, magnesium and potassium ion batteries
• Photocatalytic and electrochemical water splitting
• Electrolyte and electrolyte additives for energy storage devices

Abstract Submission Deadline : July 14, 2017
Abstract Notification Deadline : July 10, 2017
Fullpaper Submission : July 30, 2017
Early bird Registration Deadline: July 30, 2017
Conference Dates : October 3-4, 2017
All papers will be peer-reviewed and subject to corrections. Through the
process, all accepted and presented papers will be published in the IOP
Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science (EES) (indexed in
SCOPUS). Some other selected papers will be published in International
Journal of Technology (IJTech), a SCOPUS indexed journal. They will be
excluded from IOP conference series: EES and must be extended to a
minimum of 8 pages and maximum of 10 pages. The format for preparing the
